SimplyBiz launch series of comprehensive gap-fill 'Learning & Development' Events for 2012
SimplyBiz have announced they are preparing to launch a series of gap-fill 'Learning and Development' seminars for 2012. The events will run throughout the country and are to be supported by providers including Metlife, Just Retirement, LV=, Prudential, Aviva and JP Morgan, in addition to SimplyBiz's own compliance and technical teams. Furthermore, SimplyBiz are in the process of seeking accreditation for these events.
Rachel Lee, Head of Events for SimplyBiz Services, commented:
“We're delighted that it looks as though we're going to be able to cover the majority, if not all, of the 109 outstanding gap-fill areas. We surveyed the SimplyBiz Membership and it was very clear that this is where most advisers are going to be focussing their attention throughout 2012, therefore we knew it was essential to provide the right level of support. By utilising a wide range of different media, including presentations, videos and audio sessions, we hope to meet the needs of many of the 4000 strong advisers who use our services and are currently undergoing the gap-filling process. Our Membership also told us that they would like support in areas other than gap fill and examinations so we aim to give the Learning and Development Events a holistic feel, so each will have an exhibition area enabling attendees to talk to representatives from third parties about other issues such as software and marketing material.”

The events, which begin in February 2012, join a programme of specialist workshops from SimplyBiz which cover investments, pensions and mortgages.
