SimplyBiz had intended to mail just 300 former Millfield companies offering them a waiver of SimplyBiz costs during the authorisation process and if necessary assist their cash flow by advancing the FSA application fee. But a mistake in the mailing department saw the letter sent to 5000 advisory businesses. Ken Davy, chairman of SimplyBiz said he had considered telling advisers who should not have received the letter that the deal was not supposed to be accessible to them. But, he said he felt it was not in the spirit of SimplyBiz company to snatch away the offer.
