03/04/2009 - SimplyBiz host their 5th annual partnership awards ceremony

SimplyBiz, the Huddersfield based compliance and business support service company for independent financial services intermediaries, held their 5th annual partnership awards on Thursday 2nd April at the Galpharm Stadium. Over a hundred distinguished guests from the financial services sector attended the Olympics themed dinner event at which awards were presented by SimplyBiz Chairman Ken Davy to those who were successful in the twenty judged categories.

Winners on the evening included Bright Grey for Best ‘Member Meeting’ Presentation, Virgin Money for Best Online Campaign and Skandia took the coverted title of Provider of the Year.

Matthew Timmins, SimplyBiz Marketing Director, commented:

“The SimplyBiz partnership awards winners are judged based on feedback from our member firms, and how effectively our partner companies work with them. For example, Scottish Widows – winners of the Best Use of Research award – won this category due to measures that they put in place after surveying our membership for their views on electronic business facilities and Friends Provident were successful in the Best Overall Service category based upon intiatives they put in place to tailor and improve their service to SimplyBiz member firms.

We also recognise that it has been a challenging year throughout the entire financial services industry, and we wanted to make sure that we still recognised and celebrated successful enterprises from our partners and awarded those organisations who continue to be successful.”
