The normal route for searching your family tree would be to trudge through old census records on dusty library shelves or spend many an hour asking your forgetful 80 year old aunt what she remembers – or involve even more time and effort if your linage comes from overseas. But not for one member of the SimplyBiz team. John Tarazi, Authorisations and Permissions Manager, is quite used to being the only person within SimplyBiz to have the unusual surname and was very surprised to see an FSA authorisation application on his desk made in the name of Michael Tarazi. As part of his normal line of duty, John made an introductory call to Michael and as conversation flowed both established that their forefathers came from the same village in Palestine and that they are related on their fathers’ side! Asked if Micheal’s FSA application would receive priority treatment, John replied “I am keeping that one in the family!”
