22/05/2007 - SimplyBiz announces Launch of the New Model Business Academy

The New Model Business Academy is being launched by SimplyBiz as a new business support service.

This optional service which will be available to all SimplyBiz and Compliance First practices will initially focus on helping IFA firms grow and develop their expertise in four key areas:

1) It will support their professional development and that of their staff right through to the achievement of Chartered Financial Planning status or such other qualifications appropriate to their needs.

2) It will assist firms who wish to grow their recurring fee and/or trail income to do so and give support to the transition process where firms wish to develop that area of business.

3) The New Model Business Academy will also facilitate the communication and sharing of best practice. This will enable member firms and their clients to benefit from the transfer of proven ideas from one practice to another nationwide regardless of location. This element has already been successfully piloted over the last 12 months.

4) Assist in career progression and succession planning to enable firms of every size to make the best use of their resources and opportunities.

Ken Davy, Chairman of SimplyBiz, announced the new service in Scotland on Friday in a meeting of the principals of Compliance First and SimplyBiz firms.

Mr. Davy said “We believe that this important initiative will help firms and their staff increase both their professionalism and profitability as well as supporting their career development and retirement planning.
