03/08/2007 - Peter Hales joins Simply Biz Advisory Board

SimplyBiz PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Hales to their Advisory Board. Peter Hales is the immediate Past President of CII and a former senior director of Norwich Union. The purpose of the Advisory Board is to monitor the strategic objectives of the SimplyBiz Group in order to enhance the growth, development and success of the business.

Peter Hales has long been regarded as one of the financial service sectors most influential figures with an outstanding track record of success at Norwich Union as well as extensive involvement in major industry bodies including the ABI and the CII. He is currently Chairman of the CII’s Faculty of Life & Pensions, and a non-executive director of both the Skipton Building Society and Just Retirement PLC.

Peter Hales joins Jim Roberts, former Chairman of Skandia Investment Management and Barry Kayes former Chairman of Tenet Group on the Simply Biz Advisory Board which also includes Managing Director of SimplyBiz, Ian Thorneycroft and Chairman Ken Davy.

Commenting on his joining the SimplyBiz Advisory Board Peter Hales said:
