SimplyBiz are taking part in the 24 peaks in 24 hours Challenge, on the weekend of the 6th & 7th September 2008 in the Lake District, in aid of the Mitchemp Trust.

The Mitchemp Trust is a charitable trust established in 1992, founded by two pioneer explorers David Hempleman-Adams and Major Richard Mitchell. These two seasoned explorers, having pushed their own bodies to physical limits by breaking records in the Artic, reflected on how they acheived what they did. They agreed that their experiences in challenging themselves when they were young helped them to believe in their abilities and push their own horizons. Many young people do not have the opportunity to start the ‘Believe-Achieve process and would therefore not be given the key to unlock their potential and acheive as much in life as they could.
The 24 peak challenge is a National Event sponsored by Invesco Perpetual. Teams of 5 to 7 people make up a team. Each team must raise £5000 in order to take part in the event. SimplyBiz staff are so enthusiastic about the challenge that we have three teams taking part, therefore our sponsorship target is £15000, this is a minimum target and we are very keen to break this total and raise as much as possible.
