03/09/2008 - SimplyBiz Tackle Charity Challenge

This weekend, seven SimplyBiz employees are taking on the extreme physical challenge of 24 Peaks in 24 hours. This national charity event is organised by the ‘Mitchemp Trust’, a charity that works to give underpriviledged children the better quality of life they deserve. Each team taking part must raise a minimum of £5000 in order to complete the challenge, all the proceeds go to the ‘Mitchemp Trust.’

The physical side of the challenge is an extreme endurance event, the route follows a total distance of 51.1 km and a total height of 1773metres. The team, or ‘magnificent seven’ as they are referred to in the office, have been training and fundraising since March and are very excited about the upcoming weekend.

Jessica Sellers, marketing officer for SimplyBiz and team leader said: “ The preperation is over and now the real challenge is about to begin – we feel completely humbled by the support of all our donators and we aim to make our colleagues and supporters proud of our efforts.”
