Matt's previous employment has included working for GE Capital's Global Consumer Finance Division, DBS Financial Management and as an independent consultant during the MBO of AIG Environmental. He has overall responsibility for the marketing activities of SimplyBiz. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and has a degree and postgraduate diploma in Marketing.
He spends most of his time developing the SimplyBiz website for members, creating marketing campaigns for the company and liaising with product providers on a regular basis. Matt is also Managing Director of Capital Reward Ltd.
Matt believes that the success of SimplyBiz is wholly linked to meeting the needs of the small to medium-sized IFAs as their business continues to flourish.
David joined the SimplyBiz team in April 2008 after working for the HSBC Banking Group for twenty eight years, within both retail and the Head Office Marketing Department. During his latter twelve years with HSBC he worked for their direct banking subsidiary, First Direct, where he was Senior Product Marketing Manager. David is professionally qualified in both banking and marketing.
At SimplyBiz, David works with his team to ensure existing Members gain maximum benefit from SimplyBiz, as well as producing and implementing the annual recruitment promotional plan to attract new members to SimplyBiz.
When he’s not in SimplyBiz, David can be found walking the high hills of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, visiting great places in Europe, watching his local football team or trying to improve his guitar playing.
Alison has worked in financial services industry since 1976; she has had various roles with insurance company AXA, directly authorised IFA practices and network compliance. She is also FPC and CeMap qualified, which added to her varied experience provides her with an all-round knowledge of the way in which advisers work, and how she can help.
Alison enjoys relaxing by creating tasteful delights in the kitchen and, like all chefs, with a bottle of wine.
Andy has significant experience in the IFA market having previously been an adviser and has held senior roles in the industry including National Sales Manager of Nationwide Building Society’s IFA division and Regional Sales Director with Barclays IFA operation. Andrew is Business Development Manager recruiting new members for SimplyBiz. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and has an MBA from Henley Management College.
Andy’s interests include golf, motorcycling and walking.
Diane joined SimplyBiz in April 2008 and returns to the financial industry having most recently worked for the Local Housing Association.
In her spare time, Diane enjoys socializing, spending time with her partner and children, experimental cooking, visiting family in Scotland and holidays both home and abroad.
Richard joined SimplyBiz in June 2005 as a valued part of the Recruitment Department, taking on the role of Recruitment & Development Team Leader for the South of England.
In August 2008 he joined the Marketing Department in the role of Account Manager and will be working with member firms to ensure they get the most out of their membership with SimplyBiz.
Richard holds an honours degree from the Liverpool John Moores University and is studying towards his Financial Planning Certificate. Away from work he is an avid music collector with a predilection for fine wine and home-cooked food.
Laura has worked in financial services for over 10 years including previous roles in recruitment, corporate events and customer service.
Her roles at SimplyBiz include managing the marketing retention team, overseeing the organisation of Simply Events throughout the country, issuing press releases and articles, managing communications to members and the SimplyBiz website and providing marketing support to Capital Reward and the New Model Business Academy.
In her spare time, Laura has just finished her third year of a part time degree in English Literature at Huddersfield University.
Asta joined SimplyBiz in July 2006 after moving to the UK from Perth, Australia. She graduated from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia with a degree in Physics in 2004.
She has worked in many industries over the years, from isotope research to interior design and in her spare time Asta enjoys reading, astronomy, travelling and going to the theatre.
Hannah moved across to join the SimplyBiz marketing team in January 2009 from our mortgage club SimplyBiz Mortgages where she was the Sales Support Supervisor.
In her current role as Marketing Coordinator Hannah provides support to the retention marketing team, as well as being responsible for the management of areas of the website, the production of direct mail campaigns, marketing initiatives and materials.

In her leisure time Hannah enjoys broadening her artistic horizons through travel and is a keen follower of up-and-coming comedians.
Having recently completed a Graphic Communication degree at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, Matt has now joined SimplyBiz as our Marketing Designer. His main role will be to promote SimplyBiz through a range of communication methods including; direct mail, brochures, newsletters, and microsites.
In his free time, Matt enjoys swimming and running. He also likes to keep in touch with developments in the world of design.
Prior to working at SimplyBiz, Michelle was a perpetual student, completing a B.A. and M.A. from the University of London. Her field of interest and expertise is Ancient Roman history, and she has spent many years studying identity and social constraints in Neronian Rome.
Michelle has many interests outside work including travel, walking, cooking, eating out, reading, shoes, and for 2010 – wedding planning! Michelle also has three goldfish, 2 cats...and wants a dog...
Selena started her financial career at Bradford and Bingley in 2007. She moved on to join the SimplyBiz team in April 2009 as Strategic Relationship Manager. She works closely with various tactical and strategic product providers with input in their planning and marketing activities.
Lisa joined the SimplyBiz Marketing team following a period of temporary work at the company, during which she assisted both the admin and marketing teams. She is thoroughly enjoying her new role working with the Product Providers. Her responsibilities include; coordinating amendments to Provider Micro sites, advertising special offers and competitions and assiting Michelle with Live Chat.
Prior to working for SimplyBiz, Lisa gathered valuable and varied experience from other temporary roles including recruitment and working in a school finance office. Lisa also attended Loughborough University where she completed a BSc in Human Biology.
Out of work, Lisa is a part-time party planner and enjoys nothing more than pampering people in their own homes. In her spare time (when she gets some!) she enjoys decorating, shopping, reading and walking.
Rachel started her career in financial services with Guardian Royal Exchange in 1987 and has held a variety of sales roles with Allied Dunbar and Liverpool Victoria. Her last role was at Bankhall where she was Sales Manager for Point One. She has been at SimplyBiz since August 2004.
In her spare time she loves having quality time with her family, skiing, walking their 2 dogs and going to the gym.... also known as the pub!
Becca is the Head of Operations for Capital Reward. Her role involves managing the information flow from product providers to members ensuring that all business written by member firms with the product providers on board with Capital Reward is correctly attributed. She deals with member enquiries together with ensuring processes are in place to bring new product providers onto Capital Reward. Becca also manages the company secretarial aspects of Capital Reward
Previously, Becca worked at Business Link West Yorkshire as the Business Systems Manager. She was responsible for making sure that the head office function ran smoothly and that the business was compliant with its funder’s obligations. Her responsibilities included running the audit & compliance, contracting and quality departments, documenting the business’ processes, ensuring the company’s legislative compliance as well as managing the premises.
