'FCA are pushing for tech guidance': SimplyBiz

Guidance for firms on IT and outsourcing to cloud technology will be among the more important regulatory issues for advisers in the coming months, according to the support services and compliance provider SimplyBiz.
Gary Kershaw, group compliance director at SimplyBiz Group, said that advisers will especially need to consider their responses to such issues as outsourcing and social media.
Last year, the FCA invited views on guidance to clarify the requirements on firms when outsourcing to help them oversee all aspects of their outsourcing arrangements.
