SimplyBiz launches Big Ticket Items support

17 Mar 2015

2015 is undoubtedly going to be a busy year for financial advisers. As part of SimplyBiz's ongoing commitment to providing support to help advisers develop their businesses, we've identified three areas which we believe will be key focusses in the year ahead:

Pensions Freedom

Last year the Chancellor’s Budget outlined sweeping changes to the way people access their pensions, and these plans will soon become policy. Retirement choices will be difficult to understand for many clients, but essential to get right - professional advice will be the first port of call.

Auto Enrolment

In the twelve months from March, over 150,000 employers will reach their staging dates and begin enrolling their employees into a workplace pension. Auto enrolment represents a huge opportunity to build new income streams, while embedding your service in the employer business.

Sunset Clause

Okay, so the sunset clause ends in 2016, but the clock is very much ticking and there are many reasons why you should now start looking to move your clients to clean share classes or suitable alternatives, not least to save stress in the future - we all remember the frantic run up to the RDR.

For each Big Ticket Item, SimplyBiz has created a support resource of documents, event dates, webinars, videos and useful links. So whether you’re looking to update your pensions product knowledge, capitalise on the auto enrolment opportunity or begin reviewing your clients’ platform assets, you'll find the support you need.
