SimplyBiz eyes robo-advice service for member firms

Support service provider SimplyBiz will make a robo-advice service available to member firms.

The Treasury and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are expected to make it easier for firms to set up robo-advice services as part of their joint financial advice market review (FAMR).

Firms such as Belfast-based Destination Financial Planning and Rutland-based Fiveraday use technology designed by platform provider Parmenion to power their propositions. Fidelity has also expressed its intention to launch a robo-advice service which will be available to advisers.
